Corporate Responsibility
Synergy Healthcare is committed to setting new standards in quality and service for our customers. In the UK, Synergy works closely with decision makers in the Department of Health to assist policy development to improve the quality of sterile service provision.
We are also committed to providing support to local charities and fundraising events and playing a responsible role in the community by supporting local initiatives.
Recently the Company was a key donator to a local charity, ConVoy of Hope, as well as supporting a children’s charity, Frimley Children’s Centre, in its efforts to raise funds to buy an Echocardiogram.
As a significant employer, we actively invest in training and education for our employees. In 2003 the Group opened the first training college for sterile services in the UK (in partnership with Derby College). We recognise the importance of ongoing development of our workforce in order to maintain the highest standards in quality and service provision.
We have won a number of awards for business leadership. In 2003, Synergy was a finalist for the Derbyshire Business Award and in September of the same year, we won the award for External Contractors Excellence by The Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Trust Board. In 2002 we won an award for Best Newcomer at the London Stock Exchange AIM Awards.
In 2004, Synergy was one of four finalists (out of 900 companies) for two London Stock Exchange AIM awards; for Best use of AIM and for Company of the Year.
